Concrete fails from the bottom up. Because we own the Bobcat and the excavator, the sub-base gets excavated, graded and compacted to depth — not scraped and hoped for. We will not tell you your slab will never crack; in this freeze-thaw climate nobody honestly can. We will tell you exactly what we do to make cracking less likely and to keep it in the joints where it belongs.

Layout & drainage plan
We set elevations so water runs away from the house. This one decision matters more than the finish.

Excavate & compact
Our own machines dig to depth and compact the stone base in lifts. This is the step budget contractors skip.

Form & reinforce
Forms set to grade, rebar or mesh placed on chairs — not laid on the dirt and pulled up "later".
- 04
Pour & finish
Air-entrained mix specified for freeze-thaw, screeded, floated and finished to the specified texture.
- 05
Joint, cure & seal
Control joints cut on schedule, cure managed, and sealer applied when the slab is ready for it.
